  • Start eating right

    If at all possible, don’t miss breakfast. A recent study revealed that starting the day with a meal boosted resting metabolic rate by 10 per cent.

    What’s more, people who skip breakfast or lunch, eating most of their calories in the evening, have been shown to have lower metabolisms than ‘frontloaders’.
