manicureEvery bride wants to be the star attraction on her big day. The experts at Malika offer their top beauty tips for wedding perfection

1. Get your eyebrows threaded

Have an eyebrow threading consultation up to three months before the big day. Regular visits (every three weeks) will ensure the perfect shape is obtained.

Perfect brows will emphasise the bride's features for her special day. The final eyebrow threading treatment should take place a few days before the wedding day.

2. Get regular facials

General skin exfoliation provided by good facials, removes dead skin cells from your face and makes your skin glow. Regular facials also ensure a beautiful complexion for the wedding day.

A regular facial programme should be started up to six months prior to the wedding day. Do not get a facial on the wedding day though - your skin may appear abnormally flushed.

Malika has devised a signature facial, which uses natural ingredients, seasonal fruits and herbs which used together create a gorgeous complexion tailored to the bride's skin type and this will ensure she feels and looks wonderful on her big day.

3. Get regular manicures

Regular manicures help to keep your hands and fingernails in good condition. Ask about 'hot mittens' which is a real pampering treat for hands, leaving them smooth and gorgeous.

4. Schedule a pedicure

Schedule a pedicure for the day before the wedding. You want your feet to look nice for your husband and a good pedicure can do just that. Your feet will be smooth, clean and polished!

5. Book a stylist and make-up artist

Book a hairstylist and make-up artist for your wedding day. Be sure to do this a couple of months in advance and go in for a trial run a couple of weeks before the wedding.

6. Get lash extensions

Perfect for that big day and for the honeymoon, individual lash extensions last up to two weeks. Lashes appear thicker and fuller, with no need for mascara!
