Section 4: Drive and ambition how you achieve your goals
You are a perfectionist and have high standards for your own work. You often feel that, if you want something done right, you must do it yourself, for others do not do as thorough a job as you do. Doing a task well is very important to you, and you may labour over minute details that others wouldnt bother with. You strive for accuracy, efficiency, and precision, and you become very irritable when things are not done right.
On the other hand, you can become so much of a perfectionist and so self-critical that you will not even attempt many activities and projects, feeling that your efforts simply wont be good enough. You are usually modest and realistic in assessing what you can accomplish and, if anything, you underestimate yourself. Of course, practice makes perfect, and if you do apply yourself diligently in some area, you gradually gain self-confidence as you master skills and develop expertise.
You conserve your energy and pace yourself so that you do not waste or diffuse your efforts. An unwillingness to take risks or venture from the beaten track can sometimes limit your opportunities. In short, you may not aim high enough and settle for too little in life.
Your self-confidence and vitality are strong and you believe you can do just about anything you want to. You have an enterprising spirit, a good sense of timing, and the ability to sense what will succeed and what wont. You usually make fortunate decisions in work or business activities. You enjoy healthy competition and you have a rather playful, good-humoured attitude toward it. You mostly compete with yourself to see how far you can go or how much you can accomplish. You like to keep stretching your limits.
Your competitive drive and big ambitions (commented upon earlier) are fuelled by either strong spiritual idealism, or a rather inflated, grandiose idea of what you can actually accomplish. Your energy level is apt to fluctuate from being very strong, as noted earlier, to rather low, as mentioned in the following paragraphs.
Ordinary life often seems drab and uninteresting to you and you must have something that stirs your imagination, some vision or ideal or dream to motivate you. You have a strong urge to act out your fantasies or to live your dream, and you will DO things that others only talk about or dream about. Artistic creation, drama, or other areas in which you can express yourself imaginatively are excellent for you.
Work that serves only your own narrow personal interests does not satisfy you. You may lack the competitive edge, the fighting spirit, the me-first attitude that is often required for material advancement and success. You also tend to either overestimate or underestimate your own power and abilities.
You have a talent and ability for putting fresh ideas and inspiration into practice. You are ready and willing to utilise new ideas and methods, and you have a knack for gaining acceptance for a new idea and practically implementing it.
Section 5: Growth and expansion areas that you enjoy
Your strength lies in your ability to see the whole, rather than only the parts which compose it. You have a deep need to explore the world and to develop your own philosophy of life and sense of personal meaning. You vacillate between being open-minded and tolerant of differing views, and being dogmatic or overly zealous about your own viewpoint.
You aim high, have great vision, and are never satisfied with yourself, unless you can achieve your goals in a big way. You are very opportunistic and are always ready to capitalise on a good idea. You utilise contacts with prominent and successful people to advantage, and are likely to win yourself an important and lucrative position in life.
You are likely to keep more to yourself and seem to be happier by yourself than being with other people. You prefer a simple way of life and could get married to someone with considerable difference in age.
Because of your impractical idealism and somewhat inflated expectations, you may leave yourself open to exploitation by other people. By the same token, at times you also could have a desire to use others to your advantage.
Section 6: Areas that challenge you or are difficult for you
You doubt your own intelligence and mental capacities, and you may work very hard at studies in order to compensate for this. You are often overly serious and disinterested in light or superficial conversation. Spontaneous communication, social give-and-take, and making small talk are likely to be difficult for you.
Now we will discuss patterns of behaviour which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
You have a great capacity for sympathy, tenderness and caring, which is a gift that you are apt to overdo at times. For balance, you need to develop mature self-discipline, self-control, and personal responsibility.
When under stress, you have a strong instinct to retreat back into the nest, to be a child again, or to become overwhelmed with feelings and longings to be taken care of. Also, you may encourage others to depend upon you emotionally (and otherwise) to an unhealthy degree. You need to learn how to set limits and to turn off the flow of support when necessary.
You are very social, love artistic events and entertainment, and have the ability to show your feelings without reservation. You probably found joy in learning things early in life and keep in close contact with your family and other relations.
You tend to associate with weak or negative people and are inclined to find most of your relationships rather unfulfilling. Feeling like an outsider, you get the impression that others try to restrain you.
