Help, my breasts are uneven
The problem? My boobs are very uneven, and I have been very unhappy about this for five years. There is not much coverage of this subject or what to do about it. I just wondered if anyone out there had a similar problem, or any advice to offer on surgical implants? mich666
The advice?
A long time ago, I had a breast reduction operation. I, too, had very uneven breasts. I wasn't happy with mine at all; hence the operation. But it would depend on how strongly you feel about yours. However, you may be left with scars, as I have, which can be just as distressing as the original problem. The best advice is to go with what feels right for you, and explore all the avenues.

I had breast implants at the Transform Company. They have several clinics for consultation appointments, and there is no charge for the consultation. My breasts went down to a 38A after I lost weight, and as the result of having four children. They were just like deflated balloons, so I had an implant that took me up to a D cup, but I am six feet tall and 38" chest, so they don't look huge. I had to have a size of implant that would just fill the skin that was already there. My breasts felt very hard and tight after the operation, and I felt discomfort under my arms like I had overdone it on the weights at the gym, but that's all. After five months they had softened and dropped slightly, so they looked very natural

I had implants two years ago because one breast was a size larger than the other - one was a 36A and the other a 36B. I had a larger implant put into one side, so now they are both 36C. I can't tell you how pleased I am with them; at first the bigger implant looked a bit tighter, but now that they have settled, you can't tell. Surgery is a personal decision, but I am very glad I went for it.

You can try a bra with the enhancements in them, take the enhancement out in the cup that holds the larger breast, or use one of those 'chicken fillet' external implants. I also find that wearing black or dark colours on top disguises it well.

Personally, I have never seen a breast job that looks natural. The main difference is the cleavage, where the breast implants prevent a natural looking split, and the side view is really obvious, because augmented breasts protrude unnaturally from this angle. I would say, stay with your breasts and remain original!

The decision?
I had an appointment with a surgeon for two hours last night, and I have decided that I am not going to get surgery done just yet. Instead, I'm going to look into buying myself some really nice underwear and see if that helps my confidence and body image. Thanks for the advice.
