Get Kate Middleton's wedding guest look
Despite keeping it simple, Kate Middleton shines the brightest at a friend's wedding
Though she wasn't the bride, all eyes were on Kate Middleton as she attended the wedding of Nicholas Van Cutsem, a close friend of William and Harry. Not wanting to take any more attention away from Alice Hadden-Paton (the bride), Kate opted for a subdued but regal ensemble for the nuptials.
Long-legged Kate selected a simple, just-above-the-knee, silk sheath topped with a fitted, patterned, long jacket that drew attention to her super-thin frame. Adding a royal touch was her choice to stick to classically cool tones of blue, black and silver. Accessories were kept classic - black pointy toe stilettos and a black clutch - topped off with a traditional whimsical hat.

Having just come back from a family beach holiday in Mustique, Kate's make up was all about enhancing her tan. Not one to wear much in the first place, she really just started off with a flawless complexion (helped out with a little foundation and concealer of course) and enhanced her features with a bit of eyeliner, mascara, lip balm and bronzer to finish.
