Foundation is too pale
Even though I use sunscreen, my skin still gets a shade darker in the summer. My new skin tone makes my old foundation look pasty. What do I do?
It's not uncommon for winter foundation to look a little "off-shade" during the summer months. Even when you use sunscreen, you'll pick up a little colour because the sun is more intense. An easy fix for pasty foundation is to change your powder. Very often just deepening the shade of powder will correct a foundation that is a little lighter than you are. Bronzing products can help as well. Or you might consider playing up your natural summer glow and skipping foundation altogether. Just dab concealer on areas that need to be evened out and brush on a little translucent powder (or bronzer).
