Fabric Care Lingerie Whitener - banishes greyer shades of white
How frustrating is it to buy a beautiful new white bra and knickers set, only to notice that after just a few washes, that familiar dismal tinge starts to appear? White undies that have turned a miserable shade of blue or grey are a sorry sight, but until now, keeping them bright white was pretty impossible. 60 per cent of bras bought in the UK are white and with over half of these costing £12 or more, this discolouration is an expensive and unwanted aspect of wearing white lingerie.
The reason behind this horrible discolouration is that white lingerie acts like a magnet to any loose colour that remains in your washing machine, leading to the greying or dull blue colour that ruins the look of that otherwise pristine underwear set. Until now, nothing could restore that "just bought" look; fabric whiteners have little effect, while bleach turns delicate lace and net a dingy yellow. And what about those intricate pieces of lingerie labelled hand wash only or that need to be washed on the delicate cycle?
Having identified the extent of the problem, Dylon International set about trying to find a solution and after considerable research created Fabric Care Lingerie Whitener. This is a unique and innovative treatment for all types of white lingerie, including delicates, and items with lace and silk. It removes discolouration, restoring underwear to its former white glory. It can even be used on your man's underwear.
The pack consists of two separate Whitener and Activator ingredients. When mixed together with hot tap water, these provide enough solution to treat up to eight items of lingerie. It couldn't be easier to use, simply place the items to be treated into a plastic bowl containing Lingerie Whitener and stir briefly to ensure that they're completely covered by water. Leave to soak for around 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and making sure all items are submerged. Then, simply rinse and wash the items in the normal way. It's also great for removing colour runs where other colour run removers are not effective, especially from items made from nylon, Lycra® and polyester, keeping your lingerie white for as long as you want to wear it!
