Visiting the dermatologist

It depends on the purpose of your visit. If you are seeing the dermatologist for a general check-up, once a year is enough. If you’re visiting for a cosmetic procedure such as Botox injections, chemical peels or laser resurfacing – you should schedule an appointment every two weeks to a month after the procedure just as a follow-up. Your dermatologist will be able to tell you how many visits are necessary.
