We're all desperate to know about your wedding! How come you kept it a secret?

Beyonce Knowles: I've never been the girl who went to a wedding and thought, 'Oooh, I want to get married.' So I didn't want something big and dramatic.

That doesn't mean it was anticlimactic or anything, but I think it's good to be somebody who thinks about the reality of things. I know what I want.

A lot of celebs say that, as you spend so much time being the centre of attention, a wedding doesn't have the same appeal.

Beyonce Knowles: Absolutely. I think it's important for young women to have their moment, whether it's your prom or your birthday, where it can be about the dress and everything.

It's great for you to give yourself that moment - but to me, marriage is not about that moment. It's about something way deeper.
