Black-bean-glazed sausages with roasted onion mash

Ingredients

  • 450g/1 lb thick pork sausages
  • 1 onion, cut into wedges
  • 900g/2 lb potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 45ml/3 tbsp black bean sauce (available in the foreign foods section)
  • 15ml/1 tbsp honey
  • 15ml/1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 gravy packet (optional)
  • milk, as desired
  • butter, as desired
Serves: 4 Preparation: 40   Total Time: 40min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Place the pork sausages on a baking tray with the onion. Cook for about minutes at //Gas Mark until sausages are cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, boil the potatoes.
  3. Remove the onions after minutes and add them to the potatoes for the final minutes cooking time.
  4. Mix together the black bean sauce with the soy sauce and honey.
