Calling all creative kids! Win a digital camera with Robinsons double concentrate
With the Easter holidays suddenly here, there’s no better time to encourage your kids to get rummaging for colouring pencils and crayons, gathering up old newspapers, and collecting those empty cardboard boxes and squash bottles to get their creative spirit into full swing.

New research from Robinsons Double Concentrate has revealed that an overwhelming 78% of parents worry that the tradition of arts & crafts is disappearing for their children in today’s ‘indoor culture’ of modern technology. So to help parents encourage kids to be creative at home again, Robinsons Double Concentrate has teamed up with former kid’s TV presenter and Dancing on Ice star, Laura Hamilton, and ex Art Attack presenter, Neil Buchanan, to launch ‘Squash Monsters’ - a nationwide competition that asks kids between the ages of six and 11 to make an imaginative squash monster out of a used Robinsons Double Concentrate bottle.
Parents and kids can visit www.robinsonsfun.co.uk from the 11th April until the 3rd June 2011, for inspiration on how to get ‘a lot from a drop’ with Robinsons Double Concentrate, the new product from the nation’s favourite squash brand which launches this Spring. They can watch videos of Laura making example squash monsters herself, read step by step guides from Neil on how to be creative and even make a computerised version of their squash monster and give it a name, before making the real thing. Then, all they have to do is upload a picture of the squash monster they have made together, to be in with a chance of winning one of many monster art kits that will be given away each week, or even a monster holiday to Florida for their whole family!
To get parents and kids monstrously excited, Robinsons Double Concentrate is offering three iVillage visitors the chance to win their very own digital camera, so that they can take a picture of the squash monster they have created together and upload it to the Robinsons Fun website. “Getting creative is one of the best parts of being a child” says celebrity ambassadors Laura and Neil, who will be judging the competition and picking two ultimate winners in June. “We want kids to be as unique and imaginative as they can be and will be looking for two squash monsters that really stand out. We can’t wait to see what creations the UK’s kids come up with!”
