Ingredients

  • 454g (1lb) Lean pork cubes (leg, shoulder, loin or fillet)
  • 30ml (2tbsp) White wine vinegar
  • 30ml (2tbsp) Soy sauce
  • 2.5ml (1/2tsp)Ground ginger
  • 2.5ml (1/2tsp)Ground allspice
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 300ml (1/2pt) Mango and apple fruit juice (or similar)
  • 15ml (1tbsp) Sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
Serves: 4   Cook Time: 90 Total Time: 90min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Place lean pork cubes, white wine vinegar, soy sauce, ground ginger, ground allspice, garlic, crushed, mango and apple fruit juice, sweet chilli sauce, red chilli, and onion into a large ovenproof casserole
  2. Place in a preheated oven for hour. After hour remove the lid and cook for a further minutes to thicken the sauce slightly.
