Celebrity profile: Leonardo DiCaprio

Leo DiCaprio's definitely got star appeal, and not only for his acting skills, either. The lanky heartthrob with the clear blue eyes first got big-time attention for a role that played down his stellar good looks - his Academy Award-nominated portrayal of Johnny Depp's sweet and simple brother in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. A sexy star turn in William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, opposite the lovely Claire Danes, followed, but that was a mere prelude to the blockbuster to come.
