Cross stitch a cute cupcake Thank You card
Cupcakes, hearts and rule Brittania say 'thank you' in style in this handstitched postcard pattern. Send people a real sign of your appreciation because, sometimes, it's so much more than the thought that counts...
Stitch time: 8 hours each
You will need...
14 count pale blue aida, 17x21cm
White card, 9.5x14cm
To make your postcard...
Follow the pattern at the end of this article and see key for threads.
Trim your stitching into an approximately 8x12cm rectangle. We’ve left the edges as they are, but if you like you can fray them.
Print out the postcard backing from Crossstitchermagazine.co.uk, cut and attach to the back of your white card. Attach your stitched patch to the front of the postcard using double-sided tape.
If you’d rather make a traditional folded card, fold a 14x19cm piece of white card in half. Attach your stitched patch to the front, again using double-sided tape.
