Getting out of the house and doing something new with the kids doesn't have to be hard. Try some of these great ideas for things that are quick, easy and nearby (so there aren't too many 'Are we there yet?' moments). We've been careful to choose places that are child-friendly, offer good facilities and most importantly, are FUN.
