Can I eat Quorn products with a Gi diet?
Are Quorn products any better for you than the equivalent meat dishes, for example Quorn sausages rather than pork? - craftychris.
Quorn products such as sausages, mince, deli slices and so on are all much lower in fat (including saturated fat) and calories than their equivalent meat products, so they are an excellent healthy alternative for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
For anyone who hasn't tried these, perhaps introduce them gradually into your diet instead of, say, regular sausages, mince or sliced ham occasionally. You don't need to have them all the time but they're worth trying at least once!
Some of their ready meals such as Cottage pie and Lasagne are also much lower in fat and calories than regular versions of these.
