How much fat and carbs should I eat?
For a healthy lifestyle, what percentage of carbs / fat / fibre / protein should you eat in your diet?
- houndour01 -
Remember that every body is unique so your percentages may differ from others, also someone who exercises heavily will have greater requirements.
Ensure you are choosing wholegrain complex carbohydrates and combine these with an equal serving of protein - your portion of protein at each meal only needs to be the size of your palm and top up the rest of your plate with plenty of vegetables.
Add a little fat to your meals to increase nutrient absorption and enhance flavour, but choose the healthy fats, avocado, nuts, seeds, flaxseed or hempseed oil and extra virgin olive oil.
