Are there any vitamins that will help PMS?
I've heard that some supplements can help PMS. Is this true?
Millions of women claim to suffer from pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS), characterised by symptoms of breast tenderness, cramps, food cravings, water retention and lethargy. There is speculation that vitamin B6 supplements may be helpful in easing cramps associated with PMS, although this has not been confirmed in clinical trials. Evening primrose oil has also been reported to relieve some of these symptoms and especially breast tenderness, and the gamma-linolenic acid in the oil may have an anti-inflammatory effect to relieve cramps and bloating.
