The Shape Up Challenge: Five things to get you on track

  1. Find a journal. Choose a notebook that suits your lifestyle (in other words, don't choose a big bulky book if you've got to carry it around in a small handbag). The notebook is going to be a big part of your life for the next few weeks, so pick a special one that you really like.
  2. Make the commitment. Put a copy of The Shape Up Challenge: Commitment contract into your journal. Referring back to it will help you remember why you started the Challenge, in case you're ever tempted to quit.
  3. Clear out your cupboards. Throw away any unhealthy foods that may tempt you and toss out foods that you never eat. Look at The Shape Up Challenge: Recommended food list for some great ideas of what to stock up on.
  4. Get ready to make a lifestyle change. From here on in, healthy eating and exercise are going to be part of your life forever. Think of it as something to look forward to.
  5. Get ready to chat. Meet other women who are taking part in the Challenge on The Shape Up Challenge message board .
