Weight loss success for Katalin

Stuggling with your weight? So was Katalin until she discovered an online diet that fitted her lifestyle and provided the valuable support she needed

Katalin thought she would never find the determination to stick with a diet until she joined the Tesco Diets online Gi plan. She tried to make changes to her eating habits but felt she couldn't do it without a support network to encourage her when motivation was ebbing.

'Before joining the online plan I tried to eat less, and eat healthier foods. But I did not have the strength without support; I could not find a diet that worked for me until the Gi plan', says Katalin.

Katalin says, 'When I reached 11 stone 9 lbs and saw photos of myself, I realised I disliked all of them. I knew that I was not strong enough to lose weight without help, but I was disgusted with how I looked.'

Katalin admits her diet was less than exemplary before joining the plans; she made the cardinal sin of excluding fruit and vegetables from her grocery list and substituted them with fatty desserts. 'My diet was not good before I joined. I hardly ate any fruit or vegetables - I just forgot to buy them! I ate lots of cakes and biscuits and I constantly picked and grazed during the day.'

Now Katalin has lost a superb 2 stone 3 lbs in less than five months. Her dress size, which was previously size 14-16, is now a model-like size 10. Katalin certainly has no issues with photos any longer and even admits she was tempted to have professional photos of her gorgeous body taken.

Her bad eating habits have been replaced with healthier ones that she can stick with for life. The progress Katalin has made and the confidence she has in her new shape will prevent her from allowing any weight to creep back on.

Katalin says, 'I'm proud that I have done it. I never thought I would be strong enough to stick with the plan from start to finish. And here I am over two stone lighter. Hurray! I still like chocolate and cakes, but I keep it under control. I treat myself once, maximum twice per week and I only eat bite-sized portions of the treat. I replaced the chocolate with fruit at other times.'

Katalin realises it is not solely about losing weight, it can influence many other areas of your life. She is now a healthier, fitter and happier individual and is doing a part-time college course. She says: 'You don't lose weight to put it back on again, like playing yo-yo. You do it for a reason - to be healthier, more confident and also to look and feel better.'
