Dance in your living room
And with disco dancing earning 1 and a half bonus Points for every 15 minutes, and salsa earning two for the same amount of time, it won't be long before you look like a real chorus girl or disco diva.
Nowadays the shop shelves are crammed full of fun dance videos featuring celebrities showing off their fancy footwork.
We've rounded up four of the best on offer and there's got to be something here to suit all ages and fitness groups. So what are you waiting for - dig out those leg warmers and get boogieing.
Dance Workout With Helen Adams
The bubbly Big Brother runner-up is both presenter and instructor in this fun video which kicks off with a 10-minute workout and then moves on to a 25-minute aerobic sessions before a 10-minute cool down and tone.
Her time as a dance teacher pays dividends and Helen explains the moves clearly against the sound of hits like Spinning Around and Relight My Fire.
This is a great choice for beginners and Helen's attitude will ensure that even those of you with two-left feet won't feel intimidated dancing along to this.
Tracy Shaw - Salsacise
This is a fantastic mixture of salsa and aerobics set in a nightclub, with Coronation Street Tracy performing the moves with an instructor.
The infectious salsa feeling will have even couch potatoes up on their feet and dancing round their coffee tables - making this a great video to workout to, with your mates.
There are three main workouts - Twist and Shake, Kick Ass Combo and Mambo Mania - which will increase your confidence on the dance floor and leave you feeling toned and fit.
And the great thing is you'll be having so much fun doing it that you won't notice how hard you're working.
Get Up and Dance with Rosemarie Ford
This video with the former Generation Game hostess draws from five different dance styles - everything from country, to Latin grooves, to jiving is given a go.
The instructor Lynne Schapiro's teaching is
first rate and Rosemarie is great as her sidekick, injecting some appreciated humour.
Beginners may have to practise the routines a couple of times before mastering them, but they are so much fun that this is no hardship. Teamed with some great music, this video is well worth a look.
Patsy Palmer - The Club Workout "Remember, do what you can and have a laugh," says Patsy early on in this great video. The former EastEnders star teams up with personal trainer Niki Wibrow in a club to perform their steps to some fantastic chart music.
After a warm-up routine there are three routines - Crazy Legs, Slap Happy and Jump 'N' Scream - which are easy to follow and get more energetic as they go, but you'll soon be swept along by Niki's encouragement and the fantastic music.
Despite being filmed in a club, these moves can easily be carried out in your bedroom or lounge.
