Emma Stone’s style file
Blonde bombshell
Emma Stone poses in a beautiful silver Balenciaga gown back in January last year at the VH1 Critics Choice Awards. The detail in the neck-chain halter and subtle sparkles looked striking against her new blonde locks and the red nail polish adds a pleasing pop of colour.

All a-glow
Glowing in a gorgeous coral floor length Calvin Klein gown, Emma carries this simple cap-sleeved backless number off effortlessly at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Teamed with a gold clutch and minimal jewellery, she lets her newly donned blonde hair and slender figure do the talking.

Lady in red
Emma dressed down this two-tone one shoulder Lanvin chiffon gown with a brown leather belt, but nonetheless stood out still on the red carpet of the Orange British Academy Film Awards at The Royal Opera House in London. Despite the rain seeping onto the hem of her dress, the weather failed to dampen her style.

Purple passion
Beautiful as the dress is, we feel it’s a bit too busy for Emma’s striking features and the pumped blonde hair doesn’t compliment it as much as her short free waves did. Pictured here at Vanity Fair in February of last year, the aubergine colour coordination makes up for it though with Salvatore Ferragamo double platform heels to match the Chanel paillette and embroidered lace dress with train.

Ice queen
One of our faves! Despite the icy shade of pearl blue that Emma donned at the Conde Nast Traveller Annual Hot List Party last April, it looked nothing short of scorching hot on her! The beaded dress by Preen teamed with Louboutin slingbacks and fuchsia lipstick completes the sassy look and screams luscious.

A class act
Continuing with the injection of colour via fuchsia lipstick, Emma shows off her slender figure in another Lanvin with elegantly tailored black and white floral dress print at the 2011 Met Ball here.

Clash of the titans
Sporting a Gambattista Valli here in clashing red and pink at the premiere of Friends With Benefits in New York, we’re not entirely too sure about this one. The colours compliment her, again, new darker barnet but the makeshift muffin top is perhaps an acquired taste.

Hipstamatic
I think you ladies will agree with us when we say we wish we had a figure like Emma’s to get away with these accentuated hip details on her past two dress choices, especially when most of us are trying to get rid of our muffin tops. But gorgeous as ever, she tones the colours right down with this more humble lace number by Tom Ford at her premiere of Crazy, Stupid, Love in New York last summer.

That little black dress
Spotted outside the David Letterman show on the promotional tour of Crazy, Stupid, Love last autumn, Emma Stone looks cute and playful in this little black number with criss-cross chest detail and plunging neckline by Azzaro. Simple yet effective, the thigh skimming dress shows off her pins all the more with Brian Atwood heels.

Fuchsiaristic
We think fuchsia must be Emma Stone’s favourite accent colour. Here she dons a super duper bright Brian Atwood pair to snazz up her grey chic Chloe ruffles as she makes an appearance on Us chat show ‘Live with Regis and Kelly’ last year.

Winner
We love glamour dresses with pockets – so functional! – and this gorgeous bronze textured dress by Roland Mouret was just that at the Deauville American Film Festival in France last autumn. The Alexander McQueen clutch bag matched with killer heels shown off by the thigh high slits compliments her red carpet glamour effortlessly.

You are on fire!
Keeping in season with this outfit, Emma shines in autumn colours at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards from head to toe. Even though she’s a natural blonde, orange is her colour on this occasion with a Bottega Veneta layered black frock and orange body suit underneath. Teamed with amber Casadei heels and orange textured clutch, this outfit is hot stuff!

Dotty for you
At the October 2011 UK premiere of The Help at The Curzon in Mayfair, Emma dazzled with this striking dress in simple white and black polka dots. Again, thigh high slits show off her gorgeous legs, helped with Brian Atwood heels.

Black swan
Here promoting her film The Help in Germany, she poses again in what seems to be her favourite designer, a Lanvin strapless black floor-length dress with sweetheart neckline. Her gorgeous look is completed with her hair elegantly swept to one side and her gold envelope clutch bag.

Heavy metal
We think this striped and strapless Giorgio Armarni is a perfect choice for a designer’s dinner Emma attended in Los Angeles. With make-up to match her bold outfit, she finishes off the look with taupe coloured heels so not to overpower with the final look.

We still love you Emma
Considering we seen Emma in a fair few stunning numbers, this one definitely doesn’t score as high. Unfortunately the slightly unflattering Jonathan Saunders dress and over-detailed Christian Dior sandals at The Hollywood Film Festival Awards Gala don’t do it for us. However we do love the contrast her emerald earrings by Irene Neuwirth bring against her fiery hair colour.

Gold rush
Emma hits this jackpot of gold with a Grecian style Lanvin gown to attend the Glamour 2011 Women Of The Year Awards in New York City. Perfectly matched accessories, also by Lanvin, glam up the dress too to give it its winning red carpet demure.

Striking a pose
Red power was the message with this outfit. Emma dons a striking Carven dress to the 2011 American Museum Of Natural History Gala with an oddly matched green alligator clutch bag. Not one of our favourites, but she still does glow regardless in this.

Business matters
Emma means business in this Calvin Klein top with shoulder pads and pencil skirt at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation benefit gala in New York last November. The Jimmi Choo black clutch and pointed Louboutin heels finish off the glamour, oozing style and simplicity.

Haute couture
Emma wows in Chanel Couture for the Museum of Modern Art’s Film benefit. With her hair swept away from her face in a bouffant to allow the dress to do the talking, this textured dress certainly does exactly that. Designed by Karl Lagerfield, we know this one is an acquired taste but we think she pulls it off with minimal make up and maximum style.

Basic fashion instincts
Sharon Stone? No, it’s Emma Stone, although the overall look does create uncanny likeness. She looks gorgeous in this cream Michael Kors coat and warm too! We love it! Underneath she sports a matching cream J. Mendel dress and Louboutins for those perfect pins. Fabulous.
