Fiery Chicken Legs

This chicken cooked in a spicy marinade is guaranteed to warm you up on the coldest of nights
 

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
  • 2cm piece fresh ginger, peeled and crushed
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 150ml plain yoghurt
  • juice of a lime or 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
Serves: 12 Preparation: 10 Cook Time: 45 Total Time: 55min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Mix together the ingredients for the marinade.
  2. Smear the chicken in the marinade and leave to rest for at least hour.
  3. Preheat the oven to //gas mark
  4. Roast for minutes, basting occasionally, until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
