Take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on Friday 26 September for Macmillan Cancer Support. Last year, over £7.5 million was raised which helped Macmillan improve the lives of people living with cancer. This year, with your help, Macmillan aims to reach £8 million.
Some days cancer can make you feel all alone. As well as raising money, World's Biggest Coffee Morning events give friends and family the chance to get together for a coffee, cake and a catch up.
Getting involved couldn't be easier – invite everyone round, pop the kettle on and bake up some tasty treats. You could hold your get together on any day and in any place – at home, at a local cafe or at work. It doesn't matter how small or large your event – every cup counts!
- £1 ensures people receive a leaflet on their cancer and where they can get support
- £51 could pay for a Macmillan Grant that helps someone with cancer who can't eat solid food buy a liquidiser
- £184 could fund a Macmillan nurse for one day
One in three of us will be diagnosed with cancer, and two million people in the UK are already living with it. Macmillan provides the practical, medical, emotional and financial support needed.
