Soothing Oat Bath

A kitchen-herbal recipe for easing the effects of eczema and reducing inflamed, itchy skin. Just add to your bath water

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup oats
½ cup full-fat milk
1 tsp clear honey

You will also need a small muslin bag or piece of cheesecloth


PREPARATION:
1. Fill a small muslin bag with the oats, or tie the oats securely inside a piece of muslin or cheesecloth.

2. Run a bath, making sure that the hot water runs through the oat bag. You can hang the bag over the hot tap, or attach it with a length of string.

3. Warm the milk without boiling it. Stir in the honey.

4. Add the milk and honey to the bath water.

5. Climb in and relax. Use the oat bag as a soft washcloth to clean your skin.
