Posh porridge with plums

Make this rich and creamy porridge for a special treat.

INGREDIENTS:

Plum porridge
150ml/5fl oz Double cream
150ml/5fl oz Milk
1/2 Vanilla pod
2tbsp Caster sugar
2 Cardamom pods (crushed)
150g/5 1/4 oz oats
4 plums, halved and stones removed


PREPARATION:
Warm the double cream, milk, vanilla pod, sugar and cardamom on a medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the porridge oats and heat for a further 4-5 minutes.

Using a griddle pan, heat the plums for 3-4 minutes.

Serve the porridge in a large bowl and sit the plums on top.
