Blueberry Ice-cream Smoothie
I love the ashes-of-roses blue-pink colour of pureed blueberries. Somehow, I always think of them as a great match for chocolate, especially chocolate ice cream (always providing, of course, that I dont eat them long before they even get to the blender!).

Serves 1
1 punnet blueberries, about 200g, chilled
2 scoops ice-cream, chocolate or vanilla
low-fat milk, chilled
- Reserve a few blueberries to serve, then put the remainder into a blender.
- Add 1 scoop chocolate ice-cream and 125ml milk, or enough to make the blades run. Blend to a purée, then add extra milk to taste (the less you add, the thicker the smoothie will be).
- Pour the mixture into a glass and top with the reserved blueberries.
