Gadget essentials for summer

The sun is shining and it’s getting warmer so it’s time to hit the beach! Get your bag packed and make sure you have everything covered with these handy beach essentials.
The Beach Towel Clip
If you’re planning to sun yourself on the beach this summer then check out the beach towel clip; it’s a simple new way to keep your beach towel in place rather than it blowing around every time you go for a dip!
This handy little clip comes in a set of four and when snapped a part each clip simply pushes into the sand to hold down the four corners of your towel. No more scrambling around for stones on the beach, no more using flip flops to keep your towel flat. Just find your spot, clip your towel down and chill in the sun.

The Hi Sun Beach Towel
This is essentially a beach towel with built in speakers so you can listen to your tunes whilst soaking up the rays. When you’re done sunbathing simply fold it up and it becomes a handy backpack.
It’s compatible with iPhone®, iPod® or any other MP3 player that has a 3.5mm universal jack, and when it needs washing simply remove the speakers and pop it in the machine. The perfect solution for the beach, camping of just dosing in the park.

UV Monkey
Keep a check on how strong the sun’s rays are by using this key-ring sized UV ray detector. Expose it to the sun when you are about to head out and it will tell you the strength of the rays at that time, so you can help protect your skin from sun damage by wearing the right protection.
It has a colour coded purple scale and gives you a read out in just a few seconds. Each part of the scale corresponds to the UV warning scales used in national forecasts. The stronger the colour - the stronger the intensity so don’t forget your sunhat!

What I’m loving this week...
I just love this Knomo slim pouch as seen being used by the girl about town Pippa Middleton. It unzips at the top as well as having a signature zip-pocket at the front which is great for holding your mobile or travel card.
The quilted exterior provides padding for your laptop and looks quite ‘Channel' like but without the hefty price tag! The detachable, adjustable strap makes it easy to carry as well as having the short retractable leather handle.
They come in three different sizes depending on the size of your laptop and various on trend colours. Every Slim also contains the knomo Tracker ID – a unique number stitched into the bag, that once registered on the knomo website, should you misplace your bag, the finder can call the freephone number and knomo will retrieve the bag and return it to the customer, free-of-charge. A perfect addition to any outfit.
Available from www.knomobags.com Prices start at £50.
