First time sex

I'm thinking about having sex with my boyfriend for the first time but so many questions plague my mind. My main worry is that I will bleed during and after sex.

answer
As you are so concerned about having sex, perhaps you are not yet quite ready in yourself to take this big step. It's probably worth postponing things until you feel more comfortable about making love. If bleeding does occur as a result of sex, it's because the thin, delicate flap of skin (called the hymen) that lies across part of the entrance to the vagina, tears. If this is torn, bleeding will occur during sex and may continue a little bit afterwards as well. Many girls don't bleed, however, as the hymen sometimes tears or disappears on its own.
