Lump in my vagina

I have found a lump in my vagina. It's about two or three inches deep and the shape of a thimble. It also sticks out from the front. Is this my cervix?

answer
It does sound very much as if this might be the cervix, but the only way to be certain is to ask a nurse or doctor to examine you. The cervix can appear low at some times of the cycle, but tends to rise upwards at other times; for example, when you are sexually aroused.
