Is it normal to have small cysts on your breasts before your period every month?

Some women do have cystic changes in their breasts, which can be worse around the time of a period. It is important to have your breasts examined by your GP, however, who can review you regularly and advise whether or not you need to be referred for any investigations or treatments.
