Pain and hardness from scar tissue
I had radiotherapy almost five years ago. I still get pain under my breast and also my breast feels hard occasionally and I sometimes get an aching pain there. Is this normal?
Radiotherapy can cause some tissue changes and may lead to some degree of scarring. It is possible that this is contributing to the pain and hardness.
However, it is important to have yourself properly checked by your doctor who can examine you and help to pinpoint the cause of the problem.
