The Encyclopaedia of Natural Healing, which she co-authored with Dr David Peters of the University of Westminster, is an internationally acclaimed reference on complementary medicine. Their
Complete Guide to Integrated Medicine, also published by Dorling Kindersley, was the first book on this new approach to 21st century healthcare to appear in the UK.
A former Deputy Editor and Health Editor of Good Housekeeping, she writes regularly for national newspapers and magazines, including The Times, The Mail on Sunday's You Magazine, The Guardian, The Independent and the Daily Express.
Her other books include The Health Education Authority's Guide to Complementary Medicine and Therapies (1994), Get Up And Go! - Self-help for fatigue sufferers (Headline 1994) and Beating Stress at Work (Health Education Authority 1995).
She is a former chair of the UK Guild of Health Writers and helped innovate the Guild's Award for Good Practice in Integrated Healthcare which HRH The Prince of Wales presented in 1999.
