Fine flat hair nightmare

by Heidi Stanton

question
I have very fine blonde, bobbed hair, I rarely use any hair products while drying my hair but as soon as I style it, it becomes as flat as a pancake. What am I doing wrong?

answer
It sounds like a layered, above-the-shoulder length haircut would suit you best. There are a number of products on the market created for your particular hair type.

Apply thickening lotion to wet hair before rough drying, lifting the roots as you style to create volume.

Also, you should consider highlights as this can make the hair more manageable and create body.
