Gone off sex chat with Dr Sarah Brewer

What can I do to make me feel aroused?
Q: I've been going out with my boyfriend for six weeks and I find him very attractive. We started sleeping together last week and I quite enjoyed it, but I found it hard to get turned on. I have never had an orgasm, and even when I try to masturbate it doesn't work - quite often I just get fed up. I have a vibrator, which I've used twice - once on my own and once with my boyfriend. I am 28 years old and was a virgin until last week, but I have slept with a few guys and I had done 'everything bar sex' with enough people to know what happens in bed.

A: Usually all you need is plenty of lubrication (use a water-based gel) and an accurate idea of where the clitoris is so you can stimulate this sensitive area. Most women find it easiest to come during clitoral stimulation rather than through penetrative sex alone, so get your partner to concentrate on the clitoris during foreplay and to bring you to orgasm either before or after he climaxes using clitoral stimulation.
