How to make pompoms

I love making pompoms and I make them in many different sizes and yarns, even combining yearns in one pompom - perfect for when you need a break from knitting

  1. Cut two pieces of card of the same diameter and cut a small round hole in the middle of each circle. Place them together and wind your yarn through the holes in the middle of the two pieces of card and around the outer circles.
  2. Repeat until you have the required amount of yarn wound around both circles. Then, using a pair of scissors, cut the yarn between both circles of card so that the loops are cut open.
  3. Tie a piece of yarn tightly around the middle of the pompom and remove the card. Use the card to attach the pompom.
