Working in moss stitch proceed as follows:-
1st Row. (K1, p1) 24 [26:28:30:31] times, * (knit into front and purl into back of next st) twice, k1, p1 * repeat from * to * 2 [2:2:3:3] times, (knit into front and purl into back of next st) twice, (k1, p1) 3 [4:4:4:5] times, k1.
You will now have 77 [83:87:97:101] sts on the needle.
2nd Row. (this will be the right side of the work - rs) K1, * p1, k1, repeat from * to end.
Last row forms moss stitch
Proceed as follows:-
1st Row. Moss stitch 14 [16:16:18:18], wrap 1, turn.
2nd Row. Moss stitch to end.
3rd Row. Moss stitch 18 [20:20:22:22], wrap 1, turn.
4th Row. Moss stitch to end.
5th Row. Moss stitch 22 [24:26:28:28], wrap 1, turn.
6th Row. Moss stitch to end.
Working across all sts continue until short edge of border measures 5 [5:6:6:6]cm, (2 [2:2 1/2:2 1/2:2 1/2]in), finishing after a wrong side row.
Cast off in moss stitch.

Left front border

Using your needles pick up and knit sts for left front border as follows:-
With right side of the work facing you, starting at centre back of neck pick up and knit 14 [15:16:18:18] sts from back of neck, 33 [36:37:39:41] sts evenly down shaped edge to 1st marker, 3 sts between markers, 12 [14:14:16:17] sts evenly down shaped edge and 7 [7:9:11:12] sts from cast on sts. You will now have 69 [75:79:87:91] sts on the needle.
Working in moss stitch proceed as follows:-
1st Row. (K1, p1) 3 [4:4:4:5] times, * (knit into front and purl into back of next st) twice, k1, p1, * repeat from * to * 2 [2:2:3:3] times, (knit into front and purl into back of next st) twice, k1, (p1, k1) 24 [26:28:30:31] times. You will now have 77 [83:87:97:101] sts on the needle.
Proceed as follows:-
1st Row. Moss stitch 14 [16:16:18:18], wrap 1, turn.
2nd Row.Moss stitch to end.
3rd Row. Moss stitch 18 [20:20:22:22], wrap 1, turn.
4th Row.Moss stitch to end.
5th Row.Moss stitch 22 [24:26:28:28], wrap 1, turn.
6th Row.Moss stitch to end.
Working across all sts continue until short edge of border measures 5 [5:6:6:6]cm, (2 [2:2 1/2:2 1/2:2 1/2]in), finishing after a wrong side row.
Cast off in moss stitch.

To make up

Join side and sleeve seams. Join seam at centre back of neck. Pin out garment to the measurement given and cover with damp cloths until dry. See ball band for washing and care instructions.
