Next Row. Knit.
Cast off remaining 8 [10:10:11:12:12] sts.
Working in stocking stitch proceed as follows:-
Work 38 rows decreasing 1 st at each end of 9th, 23rd and 37th row (there will be 13 rows straight between each decrease row). You will now have 47 [47:51:51:53:53] sts on the needle.
Work 19 [19:19:19:43:9] rows inc 1 st at each end of 1st and every following 6th [6th:6th:6th:6th:4th] row (there will be 5 [5:5:5:5:3] rows straight between each increase row). You will now have 55 [55:59: 59:69:59] sts on the needle.
Work 40 [48:48:48:24:60] rows inc 1 st at each end of 8th [8th:8th:8th:8th:6th] and every following 8th [8th:8th:8th:8th:6th] row (there will be 7 [7:7:7:7:5] rows straight between each increase row). You will now have 65 [67:71:71:75:79] sts on the needle. The sleeve should measure approximately 34 [35:37:37:39:42]cm (13 1/2 [13 3/4:14 1/2:14 1/2:15 1/2:16 1/2]in) across at this point.
Work without further shaping until the sleeve is 43 [46:46:46:46:47]cm, (17 [18:18:18:18:18 1/2]in), working at the correct tension you will need to work 9 rows without shaping to bring the sleeve to the correct length. If a longer length is required work an even number if rows more at this point, if a shorter length is required work an even number of rows less.
Place a marker thread at each end of last row. These 7 [7:8:8:8:10] rows will match to the 7 [7:8:8:8:10] decrease rows on the body when sewing the sleeve into the armholes.
Work 1 [1:0:0:0:0] rows without shaping.
Cast off 3 sts at beginning of each of the next 12 [12:12:12:8:8] rows. You will now have 15 [17:19:19:35:35] sts on the needle.
For 4th, 5th and 6th sizes only
Next Row. K[7:7:7], yfwd, k2tog, knit to end.Next Row. Purl.
For all 6 sizes
Work straight until armhole measures same as back armhole to shoulder shaping, finishing after a knit row.
Shape Shoulder
Next Row. Cast off 8 [9:10:10:12:12] sts, purl to end. You will now have 8 [10:10:11:12:12] sts on the needle.Next Row. Knit.
Cast off remaining 8 [10:10:11:12:12] sts.
Sleeves (Both alike)
Cast on 53 [53:57:57:59:59] sts.Working in stocking stitch proceed as follows:-
Work 38 rows decreasing 1 st at each end of 9th, 23rd and 37th row (there will be 13 rows straight between each decrease row). You will now have 47 [47:51:51:53:53] sts on the needle.

Work 7 [7:8:8:8:10] rows decreasing 1 st at each end of every row. You will now have 51 [53:55:55:59:59] sts on the needle.Place a marker thread at each end of last row. These 7 [7:8:8:8:10] rows will match to the 7 [7:8:8:8:10] decrease rows on the body when sewing the sleeve into the armholes.
Work 1 [1:0:0:0:0] rows without shaping.
Cast off 3 sts at beginning of each of the next 12 [12:12:12:8:8] rows. You will now have 15 [17:19:19:35:35] sts on the needle.
For 5th and 6th size only
Cast off 4 sts at beginning of each of the next 4 rows. You will now have 19 sts on the needle.
For all 6 sizes
Cast off remaining 15 [17:19:19:19:19] sts.
To make up
Join both shoulder seams. Join side and sleeve seams. Sew sleeve tops into armholes matching the 7 [7:8:8:8:10] decrease rows on the body to the 7 [7:8:8:8:10] decrease rows marked at the beginning of the sleeve top. Thread ribbon into first hole and thread along front of neck at right side, across back of neck, and along left front of neck, finish at the same hole in both sides, leave enough ribbon to tie a bow.
