Right front

Using 3¼mm needles, thumb method and C, cast on 26 [28: 30:34] sts loosely.
1st Row. * P1, k1, rep from * to end.
1st row sets rib.
Work in rib for 4 [4:5:5]cm, (1½ [1½:2:2]in), ending with a rs row.
Next Row. Rib 5 [8:9:7], rib2tog, (rib 5 [8:8:7], rib2tog) 2 [1:1:2] times, rib 5 [8:9:7]. 23 [26:28:31] sts.
Change to 4mm needles, using M and working in st-st (throughout) cont until right front measures 12 [15: 18:23]cm, (4¾ [6:7:9]in), ending with a rs row.

Shape Raglan

Next Row. Cast off 5 sts, purl to end. 18 [21:23:26] sts.

For 3rd and 4th sizes only

Work [2:4] rows dec 1 st at raglan edge in every row. [21:22] sts.

For all 4 sizes

Work 12 [16:14:14] rows dec 1 st at raglan edge in next and every foll alt row.
12 [13:14:15] sts.

Shape Neck

Next Row. Cast off 2 [3:4:4] sts, knit to last 2 sts, k2tog.
9 [9:9:10] sts. Next Row. Purl.
Work 2 rows dec 1 st at neck edge in every row AT SAME TIME dec 1 st at raglan edge in next row. 6 [6:6:7] sts.
Work 7 [7:7:9] rows dec 1 st at raglan edge only in next and every foll alt row. 2 sts.
Next Row. P2tog. Fasten off.

Sleeves (Both alike)

Using 3¼mm needles, thumb method and C, cast on 39 [39: 41:43] sts loosely, work in 1x1 rib for 5 [5:6:6]cm, (2 [2: 2½:2½]in), ending with a ws row.
Next Row. Rib 1 [1:2:3], rib2tog, (rib 5, rib2tog) 5 times, rib 1 [1:2:3].
33 [33:35:37] sts.
Change to 4mm needles, using M and working in st-st (throughout) inc 1 st at each end of 9th [9th:11th:11th] and every foll 12th [6th:4th:6th] row to 39 [39:39:49] sts.
For 2nd, 3rd and 4th sizes only Inc 1 st at each end of every foll [8th:6th:8th] row to [43:49:53] sts.

For all 4 sizes

Cont without shaping until sleeve measures 19 [21: 25:29]cm, (7½ [8¼: 9¾:11½]in), or length required, ending with a ws row.

Shape Raglan

Cast off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows. 29 [33:39:43] sts.
Work 12 [12:4:4] rows dec 1 st at each end of next and every foll 4th [4th:0:0] row.
23 [27:37:41] sts.
Work 12 [16:24:28] rows dec 1 st at each end of next and every foll alt row.
11 [11:13:13] sts.
Cast off rem 11 [11:13:13] sts.

Right front border

Join raglan seams. With rs facing, using 3¼mm needles and C, pick up and knit 9 [9: 11:11] sts evenly along rib and 36 [46:52:66] sts evenly along front edge. 45 [55:63:77] sts.
Starting with 2nd row of 1x1 rib work 4 rows.
