Green skincare for eczema
My daughter suffers from eczema (albeit very mild). I was using a product I believed was natural and then was directed to some links and realised it wasn't as natural as I first thought. Do you know of any really natural eczema/dry skin relief? Whenever I'm putting cream on her, she looks at me with such a trusting look on her face - I hate the thought rubbing chemicals into her skin.

This is an area I cover extensively in the book. Almost ALL commercial skincare products are full of what I choose to call 'scary chemicals' - parabens, perfumes, petrochemicals, sodium laurel sulphate etc. Read the book or do your own research to see how scary! I'm imperfect and still want nice skin and cosmetics etc. The good news is there are lots of alternatives.
The best in my opinion are oil-based, and no it won't make you greasy. For irritated dry skin or eczema the most 'miracle-like' product I've found is called All Natural Essential Pre-Bath and Shower Oil - you put it on before bathing or after as a 'barrier'. One application has cleared my baby's mild excema and nappy rash. It's from www.sensitiveskincareco.com made by a woman for herself because her own skin was so dry and irritated. It's approved by the Eczema Society UK but she doesn't have the finance yet to market it into the major shops.
Hope that helps
