Step 1
Measure your window or window recess to determine the size of your blind, then measure and cut a length of each fabric, allowing an extra 1.5cm for the seams. Pin the two pieces together, right sides facing, then stitch both sides and along the bottom.

Step 2
Turn the blind inside out so that the patterns are on the outside, then iron and press the edges flat. To create a pocket for the dowelling at the bottom of the blind, sew a straight line from side seam to side seam, about 1.5cm from the bottom edge.
