Hot and spicy barbecued prawns

These tasty prawns are delicious when cooked on a barbecue or if the weather is bad, cook them on a griddle
 

Ingredients

  • 24 prawns in their shell
  • 4 teaspoons Calabrian hot pepper salsa (less if not wanted to be too hot!)
  • 6 tablespoons Organic olive oil
  • 6 slices pineapple cut into wedges
Serves: 6       whats this
 

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients, except the pineapple, into a mixing bowl and allow to blend for about minutes.
  2. Thread the prawns on to skewers, alternating with pineapple wedges and brush them with the mixture and leave them in the fridge for hours to marinate.
  3. Cook on the barbecue for a couple of minutes each side
