The good old bobble hat - it will never go out of fashion. Still, why not adapt a classic and turn the bobble into a wooly spider sitting on a lovely jumble of autumn colours? And with two size options this charming noggin-warmer needn't be just for little heads...
You will need
- Twilleys, Freedom Wool, Autumn Orange (407), 1 (2) x 50g/50m balls
- Twilleys, Freedom Wool, Black (402), 1 x 50g/50m ball
- A pair of 8mm needles
- Toy stuffing

13 sts and 14 rows to measure 4x4in (10x10cm) over st st using 8mm needles

Cast on 49 (65) sts using 8mm needles and Autumn Orange yarn.
Work 4 rows in a K1, P1 rib.
Work 8 rows stocking stitch.
Adult size only:
Next row: K1, (k2tog, K6) to end.
Next row and all WS rows: Purl.
Next row: K1, (k2tog, K5) to end
