Knit your own slippers

Last Christmas I bought my flatmate a pair of red chunky slippers, this year I thought I'd knit her a pair instead. These are really easy to do as I've just used stocking stitch, and they are really quick to knit up

7 stitches and 10 rows to 10cm/4in square over stocking stitch
Abbreviations
M1: Make 1 stitch by picking up the strand between the stitch on the right-hand needle and the stitch on the left-hand needle and placing it on the left-hand needle, then knit into the back of it

Have you read 'To make up' on page2?
since your published the instructions for the components of the slippers, where are the instructions to assemble them??? This would be the most important part of the project. So I now have 4 pieces for each slipper but no idea as to how to put them together. Can you help? Please? Thank you so much!!
