Limoncello syllabub with crushed amaretti

Ingredients

  • 75ml Limoncello
  • 2 lemons, zested and juiced
  • 300ml double cream
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 12 amaretti biscuits
Serves: 6 Preparation: 20   Total Time: 20min whats this
 

Directions

  1. Mix the Limoncello, lemon juice and most of the zest together. Pour the cream into a large bowl and softly whip with the sugar. It's important not to over-whip the cream, so whisk it until it just starts to thicken, then drizzle in the lemon mixture and whisk again.
