This flavourful, low-fat dish can be made in under 30 minutes and is delicious served on a bed of rice.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 225g boneless chicken
- 1 small onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 225g mangetout
- 2 tbsp black bean sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- rice, to serve

- Heat the sesame oil in a wok or medium-sized frying pan. Add the chicken and stir-fry until cooked through (approximately minutes). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and slice into m or in strips.
- In the same wok or pan, stir-fry the onions, garlic and mangetout together for approximately minutes or until shallots and garlic turn translucent.
- Add sliced chicken, black bean sauce and soy sauce to pan and continue to stir-fry until chicken is hot. Serve on a bed of boiled rice.
