This flavourful, low-fat dish can be made in under 30 minutes and is delicious served on a bed of rice.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 225g boneless chicken
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 225g mangetout
  • 2 tbsp black bean sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • rice, to serve

Directions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a wok or medium-sized frying pan. Add the chicken and stir-fry until cooked through (approximately minutes). Once cooked, remove the chicken from the pan and slice into m or in strips.
  2. In the same wok or pan, stir-fry the onions, garlic and mangetout together for approximately minutes or until shallots and garlic turn translucent.
  3. Add sliced chicken, black bean sauce and soy sauce to pan and continue to stir-fry until chicken is hot. Serve on a bed of boiled rice.
