Marathon training? Jog on!

It's been my third week on Wii Fit Plus - and what a hectic week its been! What with a Royal Wedding, bank holiday BBQs and spending some time away from my day job, I have been able to get on my Wii Fit and find some time to exercise and challenge my friends on various games and activities.

I have continued to use the step - really good for the aerobic exercise that I don’t normally get to achieve being at work all the hours of the day! And I finally seem to be getting into a regular routine with this, which is great as I have never had this before (it’s always been as and when I can fit it in), so I am really chuffed with how it’s fitting into my lifestyle.

I used to love running outside and have even contemplated running the marathon next year - or maybe I'll start with Race For Life! With that in mind I had a go at the jogging... it was hilarious! I thought I would be fine but I found it harder than I'd anticipated. I found myself imagining how hard it would be if I had not been on the Wii Fit for two weeks previously and went out for a run… would have been the end of me!  

So it’s great that although it was hard work that I was able to have a good go at it! Made me re-think the Marathon... where would I fit all the training in? 

Maybe it’s a good challenge and I am sure that the Wii would help with it a bit?
