Be financially prepared for cancer
How does Virgin Cancer Cover work?Virgin Cancer Cover doesn't necessarily pay out once and that's it. It can pay out some money if you're diagnosed with cancer early on, and more if you're unlucky and the illness develops or is diagnosed at a later stage. It can even pay out for several different cancers over the years.
Remember, all pay-outs added together can't be more than 100% of your cover amount. Each claim paid reduces the amount of cover you've got left. And if you've got decreasing cover (e.g. for a repayment mortgage) your cover amount is designed to go down each month in a similar way to your mortgage.
If the worst happens and the cancer is advanced when you're diagnosed, or you become terminally ill or die during the term of your cover, whatever your cover amount is at that time, you'll get the lot.
