Skip the same old curry and make a fabulous chicken tikka at home, with this easy-to-follow recipe from Indian restaurant Cafe Lazeez.
Ingredients
- 800g/1 3/4 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 30g/1oz ginger garlic paste
- 50ml/2fl oz lemon juice
- salt to taste
- small pinch pepper powder
- MARINADE
- 30g/1oz chopped fresh coriander
- 25g/3/4 oz chopped mint
- 15g/1/2 oz green chili
- 10g/1/4 oz ginger
- 200g/7oz yoghurt
- tiny pinch garam masala
- salt, to taste
- 50ml/2fl oz oil

- Marinate the chicken with the ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, white pepper powder and salt
- Leave to rest in a refrigerator for minutes.
- Make a paste from the fresh coriander, mint, green chilli and ginger.
- Combine the yoghurt and the herb mix with the garam masala and salt to make the second marinade.
