This year marks the tenth-ever Red Nose Day campaign and Comic Relief are asking people to change the way they look for the day to help someone else's life forever
The big day itself is on Friday 11 March and will see more than seven hours of TV featuring the very best in comedy from the likes of Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and a series of exclusive Little Britain sketches with guest stars Robbie Williams, Sir Elton John and George Michael.
So, what can you do to help? Here are a few ideas to help you get started:
At Work
Dress up the boss. Raise money for the right to adorn the big chief - the more the money, the greater the transformation
Hold an auction at work and donate the cash. Hunt for all those wonderful bits and pieces that were once loved, blag some really valuable things - the ultimate being a day off work - and sell sell sell
At Home
Throw a Red Nose Party with kids or friends; bob around for some red apples, pass the red parcel, get lucky with a red dip or get those little red legs to hokey cokey the night away
Upend the sofas, hunt under the car seats, and shake out the shagpile. It's the massive lost change hunt. Scrape together all that forgotten change, get down the bank and let them know it's for Comic Relief
At Play
Local Jongleurs Comedy Clubs are aiming to break the world record by organising the biggest Chinese Whisper ever attempted. For more information see www.jongleurs.com
The Big Walk takes place on 13 March in support of Red Nose Day 2005. Organised by National Outdoor Week, it will provide the perfect way to raise cash and shed pounds. See www.outdoorweek.org.uk
The Scouts are joining forces with Comic Relief for this Red Nose Day. They will be creating a very special micro site within their own website and are also organising session ideas and fundraising events in their weekly meetings during the campaign. See www.scouts.org.uk
At School
Organise a Big Hair and Beyond fashion show
